Katz Mitzvah – February 26, 2011
The booking process was very easy. We met with Amir and he
showed us a brochure with the pricing and menus. We looked
at the room, put down a deposit and that was about it.
Our expectations were met above and beyond what we were expecting. Amir added many little extra touches and gave us suggestions that we would not have thought of, especially since this was our first bat mitzvah experience. The little extras made the party that much nicer. We also required three special meals for people with dietary restrictions and he took care of that as well.
This was our first time, besides our wedding, that we booked a private event room. We chose Bella Via because we thought the room was a perfect size and had the perfect look for what we wanted. The price point matched our budget and the food was amazing!

Levin Mitzvah – May 1, 2010
“Being an events manager myself, there were certain aspects I was looking for when my husband and I sought out a venue for our son’s Bar Mitzvah. One… the food. It had to be creative but deliver on taste and elegance. Two… the facility. It had to be warm, have character, and be an interesting place in which our guests would want to spend the time together. Not some big plain hotel ballroom with four walls. Decorations can do wonders, yes, but unless the bones of the room or facility make for an intriguing backdrop, people (and kids!) can get restless. Three… the events/catering team. This is most important in my mind. We wanted someone we could trust with all details and arrangements. Since Bella Via far and away was superior in this aspect, we put the money we would have spent on a party planner back into the food. From soup to nuts, literally, Bella Via handled everything with grace and professionalism. Amir Bloom and his staff were quite simply amazing. Very calm and very dedicated to our cause. Amir made us feel as though we were a “fresh event”… like he had nothing else going on but our event. The planning process from day one right down the event itself was fun, easy and enjoyable. Bella Via and all that is about it wildly exceeded our expectations. It is quite the jewel in a rough of event places on the North Shore!

Shin Wedding – October 30, 2010
We had roughly 125-150 guests and were looking for an intimate gathering with great food. My
husband and I had been to many weddings at hotels and found that the space was dull and the food
was average. A lot of the other non-traditional spaces (galleries, museums, parks) in the area required
an additional fee to rent the facility in addition to food and service. We felt that a restaurant would
provide us with better food and service. Bella Via was probably only the 3rd place we visited in our
search for a wedding venue. I had hosted a few events before at Bella Via and I knew of the party
room in the back. All the previous events I had organized were for smaller crowds so I wanted to know
what our options were for a larger party. We scheduled a meeting with Amir and he took us through
the menu and the space. He met with us within a week of me calling and customized a menu and bar
list that was within our budget and exceeded our expectations. We also had many ideas on our theme
and the decorative process and he was totally helpful and supportive of our ideas. He even had his
staff members help us set up the room. We booked immediately after our first meeting with him.
We were blown away by the level of service and support from the staff and owner at Bella Via. Our wedding was the weekend of Halloween so we wanted a fall, vintage dinner party themed affair. We wanted to increase the ambiance of the room by adding drapes to the ceiling to create a warm, inviting, intimate atmosphere. After a discussion with Amir and Maurizo we decided that the structure of the room would work well with drapes and they were completely supportive of our decorations. They allowed us to come into the restaurant in advance to set up the room. They also helped us arrange the tables, they recommended florists and even rented the linens at a reasonable price on our behalf. Every vendor Amir recommended was beyond sensational and spoke very highly of his professionalism and skill. I didn’t even need a wedding planner with Amir’s help and his personal recommendations.
My husband and I are huge sweets fans, and for Halloween we wanted to go BIG with the desserts. Amir created an unbelievable sweets table filled w/ cakes, cupcakes, tarts, fruit, candy. It was a dream come true for a sweets fanatic. He also recommended a vendor who provided an italian coffee cart to compliment the sweets We also had many guests who kept kosher, were vegetarian, and had dietary restrictions and Amir was able to accommodate everyone without changing the menu. He took the time to take note of the needs of individual guests and provided delicious alternative menu options so that everyone could enjoy their meal.
The private room is absolutely beautiful. It has solid wooden floors, and paneling with chandeliers that are reminiscent of a great dining room rather than an informal banquet hall. We felt like we were having a beautiful dinner party for our closest friends. The other reason is the food and the staff. The food is absolutely wonderful and fresh. I had all of my guests tell me over and over that it was the best wedding food they had ever eaten. Also the staff is unbelievably professional, courteous and HAPPY. They always had a smile on their face and were the most helpful group of people I’ve met. We had such a great experience and it was completely stress free thanks to the professionalism of Amir and Maurizio. We’d definitely recommend them to other people for their parties!

The booking process was Very Easy! I called and told Amir what celebration I wanted to have. We
talked, then I went in to meet with Amir. He showed me the space and then we had a meeting about
menus, prices and the tone of the event. Amir is the key to this whole process. He is personable,
kind, caring, flexible and accommodating. The facility is VERY nice! You can dress it up or dress it
All my expectations were exceeded! Some events were small and others were larger. We had a wedding reception required a place for the band and a the beautiful wooden dance floor, we also had access to the patio. At a small birthday celebration we used a smaller section of the room. I always request a round table so everyone can visit but it couldn’t be done with twenty some people, however Amir heard my wish of wanting everyone at the same table so he made a big square table that worked perfectly. Amir hears what you want and is able to make it happen.
We have had a wedding reception, retirement party, several birthday parties and showers, and a funeral luncheon. Our groups have ranged from 150 people down to 20.
It is beautiful, warm and welcoming, there is parking right across the street. Easy to get to. It is wheel chair accessible. There is a wide variety of very good food. Really, Amir was willing to do anything to make it work. He is so easy to work with and makes it a pleasant experience. It has always been a win win situation!
